Layer, in order
  1. 2 1/2 C. flour
  2. 1 C. packed brown sugar
  3. 1/2 C. white sugar
  4. 1 t. baking soda
  5. 1 t. salt
  6. 1 1/2 C. M&M's
  7. As you layer each ingredient, make sure to pack down each one with a spoon or your hand. Turn the jar around to see if your layers are even before you go on.
Attach a tag with these instructions of how to make the cookies
  1. 1 jar M&M Cookie Mix
  2. 1/2 C. shortening
  3. 1/2 C. butter
  4. 2 eggs
  5. 1 1/2 t. vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Seperate m&m's into a bowl. Stir together ingredients. Cream butter, shortening, eggs, and vanilla; add to mixture. Fold in m&m's. Drop dough by teaspoonful onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350* for 9-11 minutes.
