Pretty Pastel Deviled eggs

Ingredients
- eggs
- food coloring
Instructions
- 3 dozen hard-boiled eggs, then peel them and cut them in half as neatly as possible, dump the yolks in a bowl to make the filling. Meanwhile using a few drops of food coloring, you can make the colors just as you would Easter egg dye and color the egg whites.
- They say a teaspoonful of cider vinegar in each glass helps. Add about 3 drops of food coloring in each glass or coffee cup and let the egg white halves soak until they are a pretty pastel color. You can also make psychedelic tie-dyed ones by adding more food coloring to the glass with the eggs already in the water. When they are the right color, drain them on a paper towel and fill them with your regular deviled egg filling.
- Another option: Roll your hard-boiled eggs on the counter so they have lots of cracks. Don't peel them, but dye them like you normally would and the whites will have a nice marbled look to them.
- If you don't have one of those fancy decorators for the filling, you can just put the filling in a plastic bag and cut off one corner and you have an instant decorator's bag.
